Palm Desert | Palm Springs Restaurants !!

We have had several questions on restaurant recommendations, so I thought I'd go ahead and start a list. Feel free to add your comments or recommendations. I will add to this list as we try new places and attempt to play food critic.

With that, our newest addition to the list is Sullivan's Steakhouse in Palm Desert. Our party of four all enjoyed our dinners very much. Steaks were cooked perfectly, crab cakes and deserts were fantastic. Very popular place. We WILL be going back.

I also want to mention that the restaurants here at Palm Valley Country Club are worth trying. Breakfast and Lunch at Bogie's Diner has been good. We have not had a dinner in the dining room yet, but I've heard the Friday night pasta night is great.

- Papa Dan's - Casual, very good Italian food. At intersection of Country Club and Monterey. Pizza is great. Very popular with the locals.

- La Spiga - Smallish restaurant. Husband/wife own it. Great food. 340-9318

Palm Valley Country Club winter re-seeding is complete !

We just returned from spending the weekend at the condo in Palm Desert. I'm happy to report that the winter re-seeding is a complete success at Palm Valley Country Club !

Both golf courses look beautiful. They now look like only desert courses can - lush and bright green with those beautiful mountain views. I played a round on the Challenge course and enjoyed every minute of it. Score wasn't too bad....

We attended the Palm Valley Country Club "Season Opening" BBQ and everyone seemed very happy and excited to be there. I'll have to remember to take my camera next time so I can share some photos here in the new blog. We also ate at Sullivan's in Palm Desert for the first time. Had a great steak dinner.

On another note, the last piece of our re-model is now complete. We added a nice new roll-up garage door last month. All of our guests will receive access codes and are welcome to use it. We'll update the picture on our Palm Desert vacation condo website soon.
